Richard Allridge is the principal and founder of Allridge Wealth Management, P.C.. Rick has been in the financial services industry for more than 25 years, serving as director of financial planning for several investment advisory and public accounting firms before starting Allridge Wealth Management, P.C. in 1995.
While Rick provides comprehensive wealth management services, he specializes in investment research, portfolio construction, asset allocation, performance monitoring, and retirement planning. He also emphasizes the importance of educating clients about financial issues and maintains a special focus on providing financial planning to women.
Rick received his bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 1974 and his master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. He was awarded the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1985 from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), having served as a vice president of that organization’s National Capital Chapter. He has been an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University, an editor of America Online’s personal finance section, and a resource for the Wall Street Journal and various other financial publications.
