Richard A. Allridge, CFP®
Founder
Rick founded Allridge Wealth Management, Inc. in 1995 and spent more than 35 years in the financial services industry. Over the course of his career, he was responsible for the development and coordination of all planning operations and oversaw the firm's financial planning, investment advisory, and wealth management services. His leadership shaped the foundation and values that guide the firm today.
Prior to founding Allridge Wealth Management, Rick served as director of financial planning for several registered investment advisory and public accounting firms.
He received his bachelor's degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1974 and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. He was awarded the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 1985 by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Rick has been a past vice president of the National Capital Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University, and an editor of America Online's Personal Finance section. He has also been cited as a resource by the Wall Street Journal and other financial publications.
